Art For Impact is a youth arts and culture program serving inner-city communities, providing free and scholarship-based access to creative education and mentorship.
Our mission is to cultivate a community of young CARES Impact Artists through a journey of artistic philanthropy at the intersection of passion and purpose fueling transformative change young people from inner cities facing socio-economic challenges.
In the challenging landscape of disadvantaged populations in inner-city communities, the prospects of personal growth, career opportunity, and prosperity for their talented youth are limited. Through hands-on art programs, workshops, and community activations, young people develop creative skills, confidence to reach their full potential, and a pathway to opportunity.
Art is not merely a luxury reserved for the privileged few — it’s a universal language that speaks to the depths of the human soul, offering solace, inspiration, and a sense of belonging to all who seek it. It is this belief in the transformative power of art that drives my unwavering commitment to harnessing its potential for the betterment of our world. Through philanthropic art initiatives, youth contribute to causes in their communities while building leadership and purpose.

Art For Impact enhances the urban ecosystem that connects artists, impact investors, and social entrepreneurs to empower creative change-makers. We aim to increase opportunities, unlock capital for creativity, and support sustainable creative livelihoods for youth worldwide.
Through our Art For Impact and other creative-impact initiatives, CARES works in partnership with artists, creatives, educators, and organizations across our network of Program Partners to harness the transformative power of the arts to drive positive change in underserved communities, expand opportunity, and strengthen the creative economy.
Together, we seek to support the next generation of artists, innovators, and creative thinkers, creating opportunities for youth and young adults in urban and rural communities to discover their talents, develop new skills, express their creativity, and pursue pathways to personal and economic opportunity.
CARES engages a diverse range of artists, creatives, educators, and Program Partners based on the needs of specific initiatives, projects, and communities in the US and worldwide. Carla D’Amato, one of our Program Partners, brings a multidisciplinary perspective to this work. An architect, artist, sculptor, and pioneer in performance painting, her work has been exhibited in galleries, featured on Artsy and Singulart, and recognized among the top featured artists at CONTEXT Art Week Miami during Art Basel Miami Beach.
