The problem: We recognize a pressing need – the need to support disadvantaged women entrepreneurs with the resources, skills, and opportunities they deserve. When women lack empowerment, our society misses their immense potential, ideas, and contributions. We’re dedicated to initiatives that promote education, healthcare access, financial access, and leadership development.
A small amount of capital can change the trajectory of an entire family.
Through microfinance, small-business capital, financial education, and entrepreneurship support, CARES and our Program Partners help low-income women turn their skills into sustainable sources of income supporting artisans, farmers, food producers, merchants, and other women-led microenterprises.
We believe in breaking barriers, expanding access to capital, and giving women the opportunity to build something of their own. Her income can help put food on the table, keep children in school, strengthen her household, create jobs, and circulate opportunity throughout her community.
