WOMAN EMPOWERMENT THROUGH FINANCIAL LITERACY TRAINING AND EDUCATION

About this cause

The photos and videos sent by these women in Africa are powerful. They are real people. They are deeply moving.

We’ve used social entrepreneurship grant funding to uplift women especially widows and single mothers rebuilding with dignity,  starting with essential pre-funding training which is our Entrepreneurship Training Module to ensure every recipient is ready and equipped through knowledge of financial literacy before receiving grant funding for their businesses.

Training Modules:

Financial Literacy

Teaches budgeting, saving, debt awareness, and basic accounting. Critical for those new to business, especially managing money for the first time.

Entrepreneurship Mindset & Strategy

Encourages creative problem-solving, opportunity spotting, and resilience. Helping them “think outside the box” to turn small ideas into sustainable income.

Why train first?

Unlike in the developed world, these rural women in emerging markets who live in remote areas have no access to financial literacy. They are hard-working women -widows and single mothers- rebuilding dignity and creating stability for their families through their micro-businesses. Having equipped them with knowledge, this foundation reduces failure risk, boosts confidence, and ensures grants become lasting impact. Communities regain strength through a cycle of positive impact.

With this preparation, we confidently hand over grant funds to boost their businesses, knowing each woman is equipped to launch, grow, and thrive.

“I just want to say thank you, for standing with us through The CARES Fund. This fund is truly transformational for us. It’s restoring hope and dignity, especially in our rural communities where many women had stopped believing they could start again.”

What’s most powerful is that it’s not money alone — it’s financial literacy + entrepreneurship training + funding. You can literally see the change: Women are beginning to understand budgeting, saving, simple records, and how to structure a small initiative to become sustainable.

The videos highlight rural visits across Zimbabwe: Murewa, Chitungwiza, Kadoma, Crowhill, and 282. The joy and hope on these women is truly heart-touching. Each visit is giving women courage to start a business venture, even if small, and grow step by step.

A special thank you. Your support is making an impact where it matters most.

Together, we are changing lives, for His Glory. Grace and peace.
